This success is the result of a long-term effort in the organisation. Since July 2015 Yili Yogurt Business Division has been working with EFESO Consulting China to jointly develop a strategy plan.

EFESO consulting services have helped develop Yili production and operation system and move towards World Class Manufacturing, benchmark to World Class dairy enterprises. 
This support is enabling Yili Yogurt Business Division to meet the strategic target of Yili Group in becoming one of the top 5 in the global dairy industry by 2020.

The progression programme covers one pilot plant, three central plants and six satellite plants. 
As the pilot plant, Tianjin Plant launched six Pillars and established a Performance Control System & Cost Model, which consolidated the road to the JIPM Award and takes Yili a step closer to the goal of 2020.
