Alexander Klos is senior principal, head of sustainability EMEA at EFESO .

Alexander’s focus lies on strategy and innovation, product profitability, and the implementation of cost and value engineering programs. With more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and industry roles, Alexander supports clients in driving ESG-aligned business transformation and sustainable performance improvement.

Bringing deep expertise in value engineering, operational strategy, and profitability programs, Alexander advises organizations on balancing innovation, cost-efficiency, and market differentiation. Key strengths include leading cross-functional transformation initiatives and embedding strategic cost thinking into complex product development environments.

At Tsetinis, now part of EFESO, Alexander delivered high-impact projects across the manufacturing sector. Previous experience includes product strategy at AGCO International, consulting with Management Engineers (now Strategy&), and co-founding a renewable energy startup incubated at SDA Bocconi.

Alexander holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and Rotterdam School of Management and a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) from the University of Michigan. Languages spoken include English, German and Italian.
