Didier Brackenier is managing director of Belgium and senior partner at EFESO.

With extensive experience in consulting and transformation management, Didier leads large-scale programs that translate strategy into action and deliver sustainable impact. Didier focuses on progression management and complex business transformations across a wide range of industries, including media, retail, banking, insurance, chemicals, pharma, logistics, postal, transport, telecom, and FMCG.

Didier’s expertise lies in designing and executing strategic programs, from restructuring initiatives to gradual behavioral change. His consulting work emphasizes clarity, simplicity, and people acceptance, ensuring that transformations not only achieve measurable results but also foster long-term organizational alignment. Didier has a proven track record in areas such as program management, change management, e-business strategy development, and operational excellence.

Before joining EFESO, Didier was Partner at EMPACT, where he specialized in helping companies transform through the seamless execution of strategic projects. His career also includes extensive work in e-business, financial services, and organizational design, with a strong focus on leveraging technology and people dynamics to drive business performance.

Didier holds a Master’s in Engineering from KU Leuven, an MBA from EDHEC in France, and a degree in e-Commerce from Wharton. He is also a certified Financial Analyst (ICHEC) and speaks French and English.
