Dr. Andrew Harte is expert partner and managing director Lean Lab at EFESO.
With over 20 years of experience, Andrew drives operational excellence by designing and implementing advanced operating systems in Labs using Real Lean principles such as Levelling, Flow, and Standard Work. At EFESO, Andrew leads transformation programs across pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, biotech, chemicals, and healthcare, delivering measurable improvements in speed, capacity, and productivity.
Andrew focuses on Lean Laboratories, Lean in Quality Assurance, and Lean in R&D, responsible for developing EFESO’s methodology in Lean R&D disciplines. Andrew’s approach combines deep technical expertise with a hands-on, results-driven mindset, helping clients achieve sustainable performance gains in highly regulated environments.
Andrew contributes to innovative operational excellence solutions at BSM, part of EFESO, working with leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies in Europe and North America. Holds a PhD in Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, an MBA from East Carolina University (Summa Cum Laude), and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
