With over 30 years of experience in management consulting and operational leadership, Elmar serves as Partner at EFESO, specializing in business reorganization and restructuring with a functional focus on research and development. Since joining EFESO, Elmar has supported clients in designing and implementing strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance organizational performance across multiple industrial sectors.

Elmar’s expertise encompasses strategic and operational controlling, project management, and administrative efficiency programs. With a pragmatic and structured approach, Elmar helps clients translate strategy into measurable operational improvements, particularly within machinery and plant construction, automotive supply, and the public sector.

Elmar was Managing Director of ROI Management Consulting, now EFESO, in Vienna, where he led strategic programs and transformation projects. Earlier roles include project controlling for a customized machine manufacturer and project management at VOEST-ALPINE, overseeing strategic planning processes and internal management board initiatives.

Elmar holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Technical Physics from Technische Universität Wien. Speaks German and English.
