With more than 20 years of experience across procurement, supply chain excellence, and digital procurement solutions, Kai supports EFESO clients in driving strategic cost-down initiatives, target operating models, and negotiation excellence. At EFESO, Kai contributes deep expertise to procurement transformation programs across industries, including electronics, healthcare, automotive and equipment manufacturing.

Kai’s strengths include developing innovative sourcing approaches, leading complex transformation initiatives, and delivering measurable value through strategic procurement, cost optimization, and supplier management. Known for thought leadership in procurement, Kai regularly contributes to industry articles and conferences on the future of procurement..

Before joining EFESO, Kai held senior roles at PwC (Co-Lead of Procurement Advisory in Germany and Partner in Charge for the Ivalua Alliance). Furthermore Kai was shareholder and management team member at Drozak Consulting – sold the company to PwC and Supply Chain Manager at Roche Diagnostics.

Kai holds a MBA from the University of Mannheim and earned a PhD from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Speaks German and English.
