Dr. Thomas Troll is senior partner and global head of Industrial Manufacturing at EFESO.
With over 25 years of consulting experience, Thomas focuses on transforming operations toward excellence and sustainability. Areas of expertise include the strategic redesign of global footprints, supply chain optimization, and the digitalization of value-creating processes. As part of these programs, Thomas has conducted site analyses in more than 200 facilities across over 20 countries.
Thomas is part of the EFESO industry leadership teams for Discrete Manufacturing and Private Equity. Together with a dedicated team of experts, Thomas supports clients across a range of topics including supply chain management, intralogistics, and advanced analytics—always with a commitment to achieving tangible and measurable outcomes.
Before entering consulting, Thomas worked in the development of sensor systems for cars and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
Thomas holds a PhD and a Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich. Speaks German and English.
