Gary Hoover is partner at EFESO.

With over 35 years of global leadership and consulting experience, Gary leads the Private Equity practice in North America, advising investors and portfolio companies across the full investment cycle—from diligence through value creation to exit planning.

Gary’s expertise spans Operational Due Diligence, Value Creation Planning, Lean Transformation, and Operations Strategy. He partners with clients to deliver measurable performance improvements, unlock value, and implement sustainable operational practices across industries including building products, packaging, medical devices, and industrial manufacturing.

Before EFESO, Gary held operational leadership roles at Intel Corporation and ESAB, and led global engagements with TBM Consulting Group, where he launched the Private Equity practice and oversaw over 40 transformation projects, generating more than $1B in value creation.

Gary holds an MBA in Operations and Finance from Vanderbilt University (Owen School of Management) and a B.A. in History from West Virginia University. He speaks English fluently and German conversationally.
