Gwen Engelen

Gwendolyn V.J. Engelen is senior vice president at EFESO.

With over 25 years of consulting experience, Gwen specializes in Behavioral Change and Operational Excellence across industries including Packaging, Food & Beverage, and FMCG. At EFESO, Gwen plays a pivotal role in supporting multiple countries, practices, and industries, leveraging her extensive international experience from working across Europe and living five years in the United States.

Gwen’s expertise lies in driving sustainable performance improvements by bridging operational excellence with human dynamics. As global client leader for organizations such as Beam Suntory International, Greencore, Constellation Brands, and The Hershey Company, she helps businesses transform culture and achieve lasting impact.

Before joining EFESO, Gwen founded and led Flecto, a consulting firm specialized in behavior and change management, later integrating it into EFESO to expand its global reach.

Gwen holds a Master’s in Applied Educational Sciences from Twente University and studied Psychology at Münich University. She is also certified by the Shingo Institute.
