Michael brings over 17 years of experience in cost, value, and operational excellence across manufacturing and industrial sectors. At EFESO, Michael leads Cost & Value Engineering projects, supporting clients in optimizing product costs, improving value streams, and implementing VA/VE methodologies.

Michael’s expertise spans value analysis, cost reduction strategies, operational performance improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable impact on both efficiency and profitability. Michael works closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to design solutions that create sustainable value.

Before EFESO, Michael held roles at Knorr-Bremse Systeme für Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH, including Program manager VA/VE, Cost & Value Analyst, Controller, and Strategic Buyer, gaining hands-on experience in operational cost management and product value optimization.

Michael holds an MBA in General Management and a Diploma in Technical Business Administration from Deggendorf Institute of Technology and is fluent in German and English.
