At EFESO, Michiel drives large-scale performance improvement programs across the process and chemical industry, oil & gas, food processing, and manufacturing sectors, supporting clients in achieving sustainable business transformation.

Michiel’s expertise includes world-class operations management, maintenance excellence, asset management, safety management, supply chain optimization, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development. His approach combines strategic insight with hands-on execution, enabling organizations to deliver immediate results while building long-term capabilities.

Before joining EFESO, Michiel held senior roles at Shell, Krauthammer Consulting as Senior Partner, and began his consulting career at Celerant Consulting. Michiel holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and speaks Dutch, English, French, and German.
