Sandro Mata is senior manager at EFESO.

With more than 39 years of manufacturing and operational leadership experience, Sandro is Senior Manager. Since joining EFESO in 2011, Sandro has supported clients across multiple industries in implementing World Class Manufacturing and operational excellence programs. Extensive international experience spans assignments in Japan, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the United States, complemented by operational leadership as Director of seven manufacturing plants.

Sandro specializes in World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean transformation, SHINGO model, capability development, cultural change, and High Performance Organization (HPO) programs. Expertise includes operational deployment, loss analysis, performance management systems, process maturity assessments, standardization, vertical start-up support, and the development of organizational know-how through pillar-based management systems. As a certified PKE instructor, Sandro has also played a key role in developing operational capabilities and leadership across manufacturing organizations.

Before joining EFESO, Sandro built an extensive industrial career holding senior operational leadership roles across manufacturing plants, with responsibilities spanning operations, human resources, quality, planning, industrial engineering, logistics, occupational safety, and environmental management. This broad operational background provides a practical perspective for supporting complex transformation and performance improvement initiatives.

Sandro has been recognized with JIPM awards for excellence in manufacturing and operational performance and is a certified PKE instructor across all eight modules. Languages spoken include Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Italian.
