Boudewijn van Lent, a member of the EFESO Chemicals Advisory Board, is a transformational executive with more than 30 years of experience driving operational performance and business growth across the global chemicals and industrial sectors. Recognized for combining strategic vision with operational execution, Boudewijn has led large-scale transformations, organizational redesigns, and profitable growth initiatives across multiple international businesses.
As President and CEO of VandeMark Chemical, an SK Capital company, Boudewijn leads a global manufacturer of phosgene-derived fine chemicals and specialty chemistries.
Prior to VandeMark, he led the Chemicals practice at dss+, advising industrial companies worldwide on operational excellence, risk management, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Earlier in his career, Boudewijn held senior executive roles at GCP Applied Technologies, Bilfinger, Lanxess, and Bayer, leading turnarounds, M&A integration, and global business transformations.
Boudewijn holds a PhD in Physical and Colloid Chemistry from the University of Wageningen and is fluent in English, German, and Dutch.
