Hatem Soliman, member of the EFESO Chemicals Advisory Board. Hatem brings over 40 years of engineering and management experience across global markets, including 30+ years with Schlumberger.
Hatem graduated as an Electrical Engineer from Helwan University (Cairo) in 1980 and joined Schlumberger in 1981. He went on to serve as Executive President for the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America regions (2010–2018), before retiring from the company in 2018. He has been recognized among the Top 100 Executives in the Middle East by Forbes Middle East, ranking #19 in 2017.
Hatem has held multiple board and executive roles across industries, including Independent Board Director at Exterran (NYSE) and OCYAN (Brazil), and Vice-Chairman & CEO of Intro Holding (Egypt).
Hatem currently serves as Board Director at ADES Group, and as Independent Board Director and Chair of Compliance and Audit Committees at Rameda Pharmaceutical and Odebrecht Engineering & Construction, as well as Independent Board Director at Abyss AI.
