Michiel has more than 20 years of experience as a management consultant. His key expertise lies in Operational Excellence and Human Dynamics. He has an extensive track record as consultant and program manager leading performance improvement programs on WCOM, maintenance excellence & asset management, safety management, supply chain optimization, organizational effectiveness and leadership development.

​Michiel works with industry leading companies in the process and chemical Industry, Oil & Gas, Food Processing and Ingredients and manufacturing industry. Supporting his clients in designing & executing global roll-out and local delivery of change programs delivering results of today and developing capability for results of tomorrow.

​Michiel is currently active as Vice-President of EFESO Management Consultants and co-leading the Amsterdam office. He is part of EFESO’s global Chemical Industry team and active in developing the Boost performance capability. Before joing EFESO Michiel was employed at Shell and prior to that he was senior Partner at Krauthammer Consulting and started his consulting career at Celerant Consulting. Michiel has a degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. ​
